Ireland: employer cost
Enter what a job may cost over a year. The calculator takes off the contributions the employer pays on top of salary and shows gross and net pay. A budget of €60,000.00 a year buys €53,914.41 gross and €41,713.78 net (single, aged 35, no pension contribution).

How it works
Total cost is gross salary plus the contributions the employer pays on top. For a budget, the calculator finds the gross pay at which salary and employer contributions use up exactly that amount, and works out the net pay from there. Here the employer's share is PRSI: 9.00% where weekly pay is €552 or less and 11.25% on all of it above that, rising to 9.15% and 11.40% on 1 October 2026.
