Netherlands: gross from net
Enter the net pay you want to land in your account each month. The calculator searches for the gross salary that produces it, using the same rules as the take-home workbench. €3,000.00 net needs €3,660.25 gross (with the payroll tax credit, no pension contribution; a regular month, with the 8% holiday allowance paid on top), which costs the employer €4,256.50 a month.

How it works
Net pay rises with gross pay, but more slowly. So the calculator tries gross amounts until the result matches the net you entered to the cent, with every option in the form. Where net pay jumps at a threshold, it shows the smallest gross that reaches your target.
